You will not only be responsible for auditing the billing and charge entry for the NextCare Clinics prior to billing the claims to the insurance companies. It will involve running reports, correcting errors, entering information for tracking, checking for correct provider/supervising on charges, and reporting unusual findings to the Billing Manager. The position will also involve the transferring payments, correcting the charges and adjusting the contractual if needed in order to provide correct information before billing. The position will also involve special projects as needed. Job RequirementsESSENTIAL SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:Education: Minimum of High School diploma or equivalent. Experience: Must have a minimum of three years of experience in billing and charge entry, payment entry, collections, and general understanding of contractual adjustments. Experience with Managed Care contracts, Medicare and Medicaid.
