Pirate Cove Resort is currently accepting applications for the following positions in Maintenance and Security. We are a multi-faceted resort, located on the Colorado River between Lake Havasu & Laughlin, the site encompasses approximately 800 acres with a restaurant/bar, marina and RV park. These positions are outdoor assignments that will require working in local weather conditions as well as working on some weekends and most holidays. Applicants for these positions must be able to provide exceptional customer service to all resort guests and visitors, have a clean driving record and pass both the pre-employment drug screening and background check.
Maintenance
The resort is multi-faceted and the maintenance tasks are the same. Maintenance skills should include infrastructure repairs, RV hookup repairs (electrical, water & sewer), carpentry, painting, restaurant (HVAC & refrigeration), and vehicle/equipment maintenance. Welding & heavy equipment operation a plus.
Compensation will be based on knowledge and experience: $15 - $18 / hour
Maintenance Supervisor
In addition to the skills required for the Maintenance position, the Maintenance Supervisor must have 5+ years experience in general construction and/or mechanical experience; welding, heavy equipment operation and blueprint reading a plus. This is a working managerial position requiring scheduling and overseeing of approximately 10 department staff. Basic computer skills required (email and Microsoft Office).
Compensation will be based on knowledge and experience: $18 - $21 / hour
Security
Security positions will guard, patrol and monitor the resort to prevent theft and violence and to ensure that all guests comply with the resort rules and regulations. Complete daily logs and prepare reports of any irregularities.

Security Assistant Manager
In addition to the skills required for the Security position, the Security Assistant Manager must have 3+ years previous security experience. The position will supervise other security personnel to ensure the staff is in compliance with the duties outlined. Additionally, the resort operates a restaurant/bar; it is essential that both staff and management are knowledgeable and experienced relative to CA ABC requirements. This is a working managerial position requiring scheduling and overseeing of approximately 10 department staff. Basic computer skills required (email and Microsoft Office).
Compensation will be based on knowledge and experience: $15 - $20 / hour
