Allied Forces Temporary Services is now hiring for experienced Heavy Equipment Operators. Water truck experience a plus. Heavy equipment operators are responsible for operating many different types of heavy equipment, including front end loaders, motor graders, excavators, bulldozers, backhoes, scrapers, and more, to assist in the erection of structures as well as pour concrete and other hard surface pavement, move and grade, and excavate earth. WOULD PREFER APPLICANTS WITH D8 Dozer, 966 Loader, 231D Scraper, & motor grader 7 backhoe. They may also repair and maintain heavy equipment. Other duties might be necessary as well.

Job Duties for Heavy Equipment Operator Include but are not Limited to:

Operates heavy equipment: includes running, maneuvering, navigating, and driving.

Operators inspect heavy equipment: includes structures and materials; identifies causes of errors and other problems or defects.

Operators monitor information: includes materials, events, or environment; detects or assesses problems associated with heavy equipment.

Reviews information related to heavy equipment.

Operators identify information: includes categorizing, estimating, and recognizing differences or similarities in heavy equipment; detects changes in circumstances or events.

Operators will learn and follow safety regulations.

Take actions to avoid potential hazards or obstructions, such as utility lines, other equipment, other workers, or falling objects.

Locate underground services, such as pipes or wires, prior to beginning work.

Monitor operations to ensure that health and safety standards are met.

Adjust hand wheels and depress pedals to control attachments, such as blades, buckets, scrapers, or swing booms.

Requirements for Heavy Equipment Operator:

3 to 4 years experience operating heavy equipment and willing to submit to a drug screen.
