SYNERTX Rehab (a staffing firm headquartered in Phoenix that runs physical, occupational and speech therapy programs within nursing homes around the country) is seeking enthusiastic, detail-oriented applicants to work on a team that provides ongoing administrative support to our Accounting Department. Our ideal candidate has experience with the AP/AR tasks within Quickbooks Pro (2018+), has excellent organizational skills, great attention to detail, and enjoys auditing type functions that are critical to our semi-monthly payroll processes.

This position reports to and works closely to our Vice President of Finance to ensure that all departmental and business needs are met.

Our ideal candidate will function well in a busy work environment, take great notes, and be able to multitask/learn quickly. Training is provided onsite. However, two+ years of experience as a junior accountant/bookkeeper/office manager is strongly preferred. Polished and professional communication skills (both written & verbal) are paramount, as well as a solid familiarity with computer systems such as Quickbooks Pro, Gmail, Google Docs, Excel, Word, etc.

Proficient typing skills (must be able to touch type without looking at keys both quickly as well as accurately)

Excellent written & verbal communication

Customer-service oriented (able to work with a variety of people across SYNERTX departments)

Team player (but also can work independently)

This is a full-time, hourly position that includes an excellent benefits package (medical, dental, paid time off, 401k with an employer match, etc.) A typical full-time schedule is Monday through Friday, approximately 40 hours/week.

We are conveniently located at 19th Avenue and Northern in Central Phoenix, and offer a casual work environment in a nice, clean, open office with friendly staff!
