We are looking for a motivated and dependable person to fill a part time position as a Relief Manager at two of our Self Storage Facility's. This is a part time only position working 16 hours a week. The schedule is Monday, and one other day during the week. There is the potential to pick up some extra hours on occasion or at one of our sister locations.
Job duties include most of those of a regular Storage Manager including the showing, renting, and vacating of Parking spots and storage units, greeting customers, answering phones for rental inquiries and making delinquency phone calls. Includes all aspects of running an office including, but not limited to the use of a computer software program, responding to Internet inquiries in a professional manner, communicating with the corporate office, making decisions, reconciling cash receipts, following lien procedures (must be detailed oriented) and the printing/reading of reports. You will be part of a Management Team that depends on you to cover the office on their days off, so dependability is essential.
In addition to office related work, responsibilities include being able to work outside doing maintenance work including but not limited to cleaning of grounds picking up trash and debris. The removal of abandoned items, replacing light bulbs, painting and minor repair issues. Maintaining the facility is also part of the job including pulling weeds and keeping the site looking clean. May be required to be outside for extended periods of time during inclement weather.
We do handle U-Haul rentals.
Our ideal candidate must have excellent customer service skills and the ability to work well with the public. Possess good time management skills and have the ability to solve problems in a courteous and timely manner. Must have knowledge of computers, sales, communicate well on the phone, and enjoy working with people. Ideal candidate should have a positive attitude and a willingness to learn.
Must be able to pass a complete background check, have a valid U.S. Driver's License and a bank account for payroll direct deposit. You may have to travel to the store or bank, and may be asked to work other stores on occasion, so reliable transportation is required. Hourly pay starts at $11.00 per hour, plus the immediate opportunity to earn bonuses and commissions paid monthly. We offer paid vacations and 401k.
