Self-storage facility in Gilbert, AZ is looking to fill a full time position for a RV Self Storage Manager. Storage experience preferred, but not required. Weekly scheduled hours are 40 hours/week. Saturdays required.
Job duties include the showing, renting, and vacating of Vehicle Spaces, greeting customers, answering phones for rental inquiries and making delinquency phone calls. Includes all aspects of running an office including, but not limited to the use of a computer software program, responding to Internet inquiries in a professional manner, communicating with the corporate office, making decisions, reconciling cash receipts, following lien procedures (must be detailed oriented) and the printing/interpreting of reports. You will be part of a Management Team that depends on you, so dependability is essential.
In addition to office related work, responsibilities include being able to do maintenance work both inside and outside (i.e. cleaning of units, picking up trash and debris, sweeping grounds, replacing light bulbs, mopping floors, maintaining doors and equipment, minor repair issues, etc.) This requires the ability to lift and at times carry heavy items.
Our ideal candidate must have excellent customer service skills and the ability to work well with the public. Possess good time management skills and have the ability to solve problems in a courteous and timely manner. Must have knowledge of computers, sales, communicate well on the phone, and enjoy working with people. Ideal candidate should have a positive attitude and a willingness to learn.
Must be able to pass a complete background check, have a valid U.S. Driver's License and a bank account for payroll direct deposit. Hourly pay starts around $16.00/18.00 an hour, plus the opportunity to earn bonuses and commissions paid monthly. We offer paid vacations and 401k.
