This position is responsible for providing accurate criminal and civil court record information to our clients.ResponsibilitiesPerform record research through various court access systemsReview and analyze court data, identifying key information and entering it into a common formatContact clerk of court and other agencies via telephone as needed to obtain and/or confirm case informationReview your own work and that of Court Records team members to assure accuracy in search criteria and data entryRequirementsExcellent written communication skills (spelling/grammar)Demonstrated ability to complete sequential tasks in an efficient and accurate mannerAbility to work in a fast-paced atmosphere with a fluctuating workloadWork independently and/or in a team environment as neededData entry/word processing skills and a high degree of comfort navigating the internet and using web-based applicationsTyping/keyboarding skills of at least 35 words/minuteHigh School education is required, but coursework or an Associate’s degree in Criminal Justice, Paralegal or other related field is preferredKnowledge of criminal court processes and terminology will be an asset to this positionThe starting pay for this position is from $12.00-$14.00/hr depending on experience.We offer a comprehensive benefits package that includes but is not limited to: medical, dental, vision, and life insurance; employee funded 401k; vacation and sick time; and paid company holidays.Apply today!Please apply online with UNIVERSAL BACKGROUND SCREENING INC at: https://universal-background-screening-inc.oasisrecruit.com/job/123393/court-research-specialist?s=cl
