This is a remote position and candidates must live in AZ, CA, NM or NV.  May consider higher level of experience than listed below.Scope:The Associate Medical Science Liaison (MSL) will perform a key role in the clinical and commercial development of SIR-Spheres any other products currently or later marketed in the US, focused on outreach to and collaboration with KOLs, other HCPs, and other external stakeholders, while ensuring cross-functional strategic alignment.The MSL will work very closely and compliantly with Commercial counterparts and other cross-functional partners to establish new relationships with key experts and HCPs, while cultivating existing relationships.The MSL will be responsible for the timely and high-quality execution of tactics that roll up to the Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) for the team including, but not limited to:Outreach to investigators, KOLs, and community physiciansIdentification of key speakers and supporting speaker trainingIdentification of participants for Sirtex fellowship program and development and execution of programProviding fair and balanced medical information to answer questions from physicians and/or to proactively discuss medical topics as permitted by the US label for Sirtex productsPrimary responsibilities:Establish new and cultivate existing HCP relationships: Function as a company spokesperson on clinical programs, clinical trials, and marketing functions that require clinical/medical translation.Identify and develop relationships with KOLs and highly accomplished physicians whose views can shape the landscape of liver cancer management.Develop KOL engagement plan and support relationship management by liaising with MSLs and other cross-functional partners to understand strategic opportunities for KOL/HCP education and engagement and to deliver effective and timely HCP education and medical information.Liaise regularly with internal commercial leaders to share feedback and issues from external experts.Represent Sirtex at medical meetings, conferences, advisory board, outreach meetings at key institutions, and in interactions with thought leaders and strategic corporate partners.Identify strategic opportunities for Medical engagement and collaborate cross-functionally to execute tactics:Identify potential proctors and new users requiring proctoring and support their introduction to TEC program.Collaborate with Commercial counterparts in region and with Medical Affairs Manager to key HCPs to engage.Identify potential participants for fellowship outreach and programs and for new speaker identification and development.Use the Evidence Generation Plan to identify potential drivers of ISR and engage with them as they develop study proposals.Work with ongoing investigators in their region to update Sirtex leadership on study progress and identify and mitigate any delays or barriers.Deliver high-quality medical education and support to HCPs:Deliver high-caliber medical education presentations in a variety of settings and to obtain valuable feedback that can disseminated throughout the organization.Work with Medical Information to ensure that HCP inquiries are addressed in a timely fashion and follow up with HCP as necessary.Drive development of field insights: Work closely with MSLs to generate key insight questions, identify broader inferences and implications for the company, and collate information for presentation to Medical team and Leadership to better understand HCP insights and corresponding actions.Translate insights from HCPs into Scientific Communications and Publications deliverables as appropriate.Collaborate on internal and external training:Support efforts related internal training, including Journal Club, Commercial training, and newsletter development.
