Firewall administration (installing, configuring, operating, maintaining, monitoring, administering, and troubleshooting Palo Alto hardware and software)
Web Proxy administration (installing, configuring, operating, maintaining, monitoring, administering and troubleshooting ForcePoint hardware and software)
Responding to outages and resolving and documenting priority incident tickets
Changing, upgrading, and patching boundary devices
Maintaining and operating Intrusion Prevention Systems (IPS)
Troubleshooting and correcting IPS induced service issues
Granting and restricting administrative access to boundary devices according to authorization rules
Monitoring network boundaries to provide intrusion detection, identification, and internal/external IT threat analysis
Responding to and accomplishing change request actions and documenting changes, upgrades, patches
Troubleshooting web connectivity problems
Required Skills
Skilled in advanced routing and switching
Skilled in VLAN and VPN networking configurations
Skilled in wireless network administration
Skilled in advanced network routing, logging and event handling
Skilled in network and security controls
Skilled in network packet capture tools such as Wireshark
