DescriptionA client of ours has a dire need for a Full Charge Bookkeeper to govern over financial statement preparation, audit, clerical staff, full cycle A/P, payroll, bank reconciliations, journal entries, month-end close, and cash flow. Recap business license and gross receipts

Develop monthly reconciliations, financial statements and all supporting documents

Regulate Accounts Receivable

More tasks as requested

Handle monthly accounting close

Record budget transfers

Supply cash flow projections, as needed

Prepare cash account journal entries including loans, taxes, bank fees, 401(k) deductions, etc.

Prepare subcontractor 1099's, and any other IRS year-end requirement

Keep Accounts Payable up to date

Competent in credit card management and reconciliation

Classify sales tax records and create and file quarterly payments

Requirements

Significant accounting experience, including as a Bookkeeper preferred

Excellent organizational and multitasking skills

Excellent oral and written communication skills

Ability to work well in matrix organization and dealing with ambiguity

BA/BS in Accounting, Finance, Economics or other business-related field preferred

Attention to detail and proven ability to follow standard procedures is a requirement

Foundational knowledge in general ledger

Expertise in full charge bookkeeping

Bank reconciliations experience highly desired

Sage 300 experience

Microsoft Excel experience

Strong analytical skills with ability to implement solutions and vendor management experience with good organizational skills

Self-starter and strong ethical standards

Commitment and abilities to meet critical business deadlines
