Job Description

Administrator for both Chromalloy’s DOT Drug and Alcohol program and Corporate Drug and Alcohol program. Position ensures compliance and maintains program files to include Pre-employment, Random, Reasonable Suspicion/Cause, Post Accident (Non-DOT only). Must be able to work independently and know when elevate involvement from the Company's Designated Employer Representative (DER) of the Drug and Alcohol Program.

Position completes a variety of administrative tasks in a timely manner in a high-quality manner for both programs on a daily, weekly, monthly, quarterly basis. This includes:

  • Work with site HR on coordinating and preparing various weekly, daily, monthly DOT requirements including New Hires / Non-DOT to DOT Transfers;
  • Monitors emails and/or website for receipt of drug test results on a consistent basis all day every day
  • Reviews applicable test reports for

    DOT compliance and accuracy against applicable Custody and Control form;
  • Ensures appropriate paperwork is complete and accurate per established procedures
  • Confirms Release of Information submitted to Third Party Administrator for processing
  • Communicates all non-negative test results to the program DER and determines test type /result i.e. pre-Employment; must contact location to ensure employee is removed from the shop floor
  • Maintain records per FAA regulation as well as keep Non-DOT drug/alcohol testing results for all location
  • Communicate with collection sites of all paperwork issues and DOT regulation violations

  • Quarterly coordinates random program for all applicable sites including internal audit with Site HR to ensure active and inactive status is current and accurate prior to an established random selection date
  • Annually reconcile, prepare and submit U.S. Department of Transportation Drug and Alcohol Testing MIS Data Collection
  • Coordinates Reasonable Suspicion training with current EAP and locations
  • Source of information and assistance for all US Chromalloy locations.

Qualifications

  • 5-8 years of experience in an administrator position preferably with regulatory compliance experience
  • High School diploma required, 4-year degree, AS or office administration certification a plus
  • 4+ years of experience supporting a large, fast paced office with similar job accountabilities
  • Demonstrated Microsoft Office Suite skills (Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, Excel)
  • Demonstrated ability supporting multiple programs and keeping programs efficient and well organized
  • High degree of integrity and ethics and the ability to protect confidential employee and organizational information
  • High degree of composure and ability to deal with high velocity change, fluctuating priorities and shifting deliverable
  • Ability to multi-task and prioritize daily workload. Ability to meet deadlines and to work independently with minimal supervision; Ability to orchestrate multiple activities at once to accomplish a goal; Arranges information in a useful manner.
  • Methodical and meticulous; Demonstrates attention to detail.
