Multiple Position, Need Candidates on our w2, So no Third party resumes Position 1:Job Description: As part of our L2 support group, you will join an expert support team dedicated to top priority customers (hyperscalers and OEMs). This team is part of our Hyperscalers lab in Phoenix, Arizona and works closely with our local engineering group designing these solutions. The main tasks include: Troubleshoot and Investigate complex incidents with remote take over and responsibility for service level compliance as well as technical escalations. This troubleshooting can involve: - Hardware aspects (motherboard, Client CPU, Client Node Controllers or Interconnect, peripherals such as disk arrays or PCIe adapters, storage, etc.) - Firmware aspects (BIOS, BMC, FPGA, Redfish, IPMI, SYSLOG, SNMP, etc.) - Software aspects (OS drivers, Kernel, etc.) Participate to the level2/level3 standby on-duty support group for 24/7 service contracts Coordinate, coach and train support and field engineers Interface with both L1 support teams and engineering Document known errors, standard solutions and workarounds in a knowledge database. Communicate the root cause analysis as well as provide information to the L1 support teams Help designing, testing and/or developing debug and audit tools Create, maintain and further develop training documentation, e-learning and webinars Participate in the support process improvement Education: Bachelors or Masters in Computer Science or Electrical Engineering recommended (or equivalent experience) Work Experience: Extensive troubleshooting experience in the IT environment Skills: - Very good analytical skills and methodology - Good knowledge of: Server architectures (Client architecture, motherboards functionalities, etc.) PCIe based adapters (HBA, NVMe, network adapters, RAID cards, etc.) Administration of some OS's: Linux, VMware ESXi, Windows Server Firmware functionalities (BIOS, BMC, adapters firmware, etc.) OS level drivers Networking concepts - Familiarity with data center infrastructure - Very good communication skills in English, optionally in additional languages (French, Spanish) - Optional: Linux scripting capabilities Position 2: Job Description: As part of our presales group, you will be the lead architect and the technical reference for all server technologies related to high-end servers, hyperscaler and cloud needs, Big Data and edge solutions. The main tasks include: Be the technical entry point for our top priority high-end platforms customers: typically hyperscalers, cloud providers and OEMs using Client server technologies and solutions Collect and study all requirements and needs expressed by these different customers engineering groups, then translate them to technical specifications. These will be typically hardware, firmware or software features study or development requests that might be designed by the Client R&D Provide technical and technological assistance to all presales and sales teams during the different RFI/RFP or opportunity qualification activities. This can include customers visits Help imagining, documenting and present the Client server technologies roadmaps in internal and external meetings, typically to key customers Be able to propose innovative and creative solutions in the above-mentioned areas. This could lead to document and present the Business Unit's requirements to the different engineering teams within Client, typically the server design architecture team and project managers Design solutions based on the Client above mentioned portfolio and any appropriate hardware, software or solution, including from external sources (storage and network for example) Be able to influence at the technological level customers before issuing their RFP's in order advantage the Client solutions or roadmap (example: influence on customers decision metrics) Have an in depth understanding of the above-mentioned Client solutions (at the hardware, firmware, software and business levels) Have a vast culture on the competitive landscape and trends driving the above-mentioned areas. Be able to evaluate the strengths and weaknesses of competition at the technological level.
