DescriptionThe Lead Solutions Architect works with user groups to solve business problems with available technology including hardware, software, databases, and peripherals. The Lead Solutions Architect works on problems of diverse scope and complexity ranging from moderate to substantial.ResponsibilitiesThe Lead Solutions Architect translates business needs into technical systems solutions. Integrates hardware, software and network interfaces to form a system. Advises executives to develop functional strategies (often segment specific) on matters of significance. Exercises independent judgment and decision making on complex issues regarding job duties and related tasks, and works under minimal supervision, Uses independent judgment requiring analysis of variable factors and determining the best course of action.The Lead Solutions Architect works with business partners to understand what problems need to be solved or what business outcomes need to be achieved. With that information the Lead Solution Architect designs a conceptual solution leveraging available technology to meet the objective. The types of problems will be diverse in scope and range from moderate to substantial complexity. This specific role is aligned to the Digital Space which includes designing conceptual solutions related to Humana's Websites and Mobile Apps including MyHumana, Go365 and Humana Pharmacy.Required Qualifications

Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or a related field

8 years of architecture/engineering experience

Must be passionate about contributing to an organization focused on continuously improving consumer experiences

Preferred Qualifications

Experience with digital channels

Master's Degree
