OverviewThe National Software Sales Manager is an exciting new role that will lead our sales strategy and manage the sales of software solutions to Dental Service Organizations (DSO) from prospecting through sales close. This position will develop and maintain relationships with DSO executives and support them in achieving their clinical and business objectives via technology and software solutions. The National Software Sales Manager will partner closely with our field, branch, Strategic Accounts and software sales teams to increase engagement and identify prospects. This is an essential role in driving the growth of our software and services business.ResponsibilitiesEstablish relationships with executive management leaders of key DSO groups
Lead full sales cycle from prospecting and need identification, product discussions and demos, pricing and negotiations, and sales close
Focus on value selling methodologies to sell software solutions that address the clinical and business needs of group practices
Work closely with and communicate customer objectives and needs to our post-sale customer care team for successful customer onboarding
Keep abreast of competitor activities and marketplace trends
Partner closely with our field sales teams to engage in software discussions and identify prospects
Accountable for market share growth in assigned territory
Generate monthly reports with key sales activities, trends, obstacles, new opportunities, etc.
Working Conditions:This position requires: Light physical activity
This position requires up to 35% travel in defined national region
QualificationsMinimum Qualifications:4-year college degree in Sales, Marketing, Business or related field required
A minimum of 5 years of experience in direct sales of software and SaaS solutions, professional services or data analytics
Experience presenting to and closing deals to C-Suite and DSO executives
Knowledge of SaaS software, business professional services, AI, data analytics, or office automation
Strong analytical skills, with the ability to forecast sales revenues and prepare and maintain budgets
Experience selling in dental or healthcare industries is a plus
High level of integrity, confidentiality and accountability with strong work ethic and positive attitude
Sound analytical thinking, planning, prioritization, negotiating and execution skills
Well-defined sense of diplomacy, including solid negotiation, conflict resolution, and people management skills
Excellent communication skills; both written and verbal
Proficient in Microsoft Office Products (Word, Excel, Power Point, etc.)
Extensive travel may be required at times.
