Position: Product Analyst
Location: 100% remote - ideally working remote in TEMPE
Duration: 12-month contract
Job Overview
The Product Analyst represents the nerve center of insight for the product team with our client, identifying relevant risks and opportunities while informing actions that are supported by both quantitative and qualitative data. Product Analysts bring rigor, efficiency, and effectiveness to the process of un-earthing insight across a variety of areas, working in a collaborative, cross-functional environment in close partnership with business leaders, product managers, data scientists, engineers and others. Effective Product Analysts are dynamic and engaging, able to build relationships across multiple dimensions while possessing deep analytical acumen.

Be a value catalyst. Perform analytical deep dives to understand performance trends and deliver data-driven, actionable insights that convince product and business leaders to make quality decisions.
Be a builder. Develop and automate reports, iteratively building and prototyping dashboards to provide insights at scale that address top business and product priorities.
Be a storyteller. Synthesize complex analysis into easily understandable stories for leadership and partner teams.
Be a change agent. Inform, influence, and execute new initiatives that are data-driven and meaningfully shift core KPIs in the positive direction.

Be passionate. Evangelize the capabilities and tools of the Product Analytics team to internal stakeholders with purpose and passion.
What You'll Bring:
Bachelor's Degree and 2+ years post-collegiate work experience doing quantitative analysis
2+ years of experience working with data analysis tools like SQL
1+ years of experience in Tableau, Qlik, Power BI, Looker or other data visualization tools
Knowledge of basic statistics and analytical concepts
Strong analytical acumen, with experience building product intuition, solving problems using data and providing business insights
Experience creating data models, leveraging analytics and using presentation tools to tell compelling stories with data
Strong strategic and critical thinking skills; ability to break down complex problems and formulate plans
Knowledge of emerging analytics, insights and data management technologies and methodologies, and their relevance to our products and strategy
Results driven and execution oriented
Solid communication and relationship building skills
Preferred Qualifications:
Work experience in tech, finance, consulting, or related industry
Degrees in Computer Science, Mathematics, Statistics, or other quantitative fields
1+ years of experience with statistical analysis tools like Python or R
Understanding of instrumentation methodologies and how to conduct statistically valid A/B tests
Understanding of digital banking concepts
