Solu is searching for a Senior Application Developer to join our client’s team in Phoenix, Arizona for a 12-month contract. This role will be performed on-site.
This opportunity is not open to C2C relationships or visa sponsorship. The Senior Application Developer will augment our client’s Technology division’s Business Applications and GIS team. You will design, develop, and implement creative solutions for travelling public and internal customers at Phoenix Sky Harbor International Airport.
You are a passionate, and curious problem solver with experience using the Microsoft stack and Azure cloud platform to solve complex business problems.
You have advanced knowledge of C# and .NET and experience leading software development projects.
This position is for self-starters with good communication skills, work ethic, and the ability to participate in all aspects of the agile software development life cycle.
You will be part of a team working on a suite of applications that encompass the Aviation Department’s software ecosystem. We utilize Azure heavily for both dev, test, and production infrastructure and Azure DevOps for our development.
You will help the team understand, plan, execute, test, and deploy user stories from our product backlog. We typically operate with 2 weeks sprints and regularly need to collaborate via Teams and video chats to be able to complete an effort.
Primary duties of this position are to support and extend existing .Net applications, gather requirements and propose development timelines. You should have a strong understanding of DevOps, SecureOps principles and be familiar with PowerApps, Azure Integration Services, Azure API Management, and very comfortable working in Azure cloud environment.
REQUIRED SKILLS:
5+ years of .Net Development (C#), web forms, Windows Applications, MVC, Visual Studio 2017/2019, SOAP, Web Services, REST, APIs, React, Angular.
3+ years of working in Azure DevOps environment for CI/CD.
3+ years of experience working with PowerApps.
2+ years of experience working with Azure Integration Services and Azure API Management.
2+ years MS SQL Server development experience (preferably on Azure).
2+ years of experience working with Azure PaaS (App Services, Azure SQL, etc).
Strong knowledge of Azure cloud environments and network topology.
Demonstrated effective leadership and communications skills to both technical and business staff.
Experience in interpreting business and user requirements and providing IT solutions.
Ability to analyze dependencies of the current business processes with other business or project areas.
Excellent analytical and creative problem-solving skills.
Demonstrated ability to solve problems and interact effectively with diverse individuals and groups.
Proven ability to design, define, and adhere to customer support processes.
Proven ability to focus on customer needs and deliver results.
Candidates with Microsoft Certifications are preferred.
