What you'll do: This position serves as part of a team of information technology professionals who collectively demonstrate excellent technical competency, reliability in delivering mission critical infrastructure, and who continuously ensures the highest levels of accessibility, optimization, and security. Qualified systems engineers have a strong background in IT, computer systems engineering, or systems engineering and analysis. Works both independently and as part of a high energy team to support applications and their dependencies throughout the enterprise. Support includes, but is not limited to; installation, configuration, administration, designing, building, testing, troubleshooting, and maintaining simple to complex applications. System Engineers also work with the servers that the applications are installed on and must be familiar with server builds, server administration, networking, Active Directory, security, GPOs, and patching Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in engineering, computer science, or closely related field 2+ years of Microsoft Server Family experience required 2+ years of demonstrated experience in Microsoft IIS 2+ years of demonstrated experience in Microsoft Active Directory Proven ability to successfully and efficiently monitor systems. Experience with basic Release Management principals and work experience in environments with strict change control procedures. Functional knowledge of load balancing concepts (persistence, load balancing method, etc.) Experience designing or implementing multi-tier architectures.
What we are looking for: Provide technical support to teams within the organization, and to external clients when required Install and configure applications on servers brought in by the business to assist with day-to-day operations. Provide “Best Practice” solutions throughout the build process for new applications. Coordinates with teams and resolve all complex application and system issues. Administer and resolve applications issues, provide updates and perform root cause analysis Assist with systems integrations Maintain and update technical documents and procedures Resolve incident and service request tickets in the company’s ticketing system Manage all production system and recommend ways to optimize performance and provide solution to problems and prepare reports for all problems Identify and provide resolutions ranging in complexity from medium to high Not required but nice to have: Banking/Financial background Familiar with Microsoft Azure Website support and maintenance
