Duties:

1. Management and Administration of Professional Services Contracts will include the following duties and responsibilities:

a. Receive, review and process requests for payments on active contracts based on each contract's compensation clause. Work with the Finance Department to ensure proper project numbers are utilized and funding is available.

b. Receive, review and process Contract Modifications on active contracts, ensuring compliance with the contract modification process and original contract terms and conditions. This will require detailed reviews to ensure correct rates are used, math calculations are correct, etc.

c. Prepare a variety of written administrative and management reports as required to document status, funding, schedules, progress, etc. of various contracts.

Qualifications:

1. Knowledge of Federal and State Laws and Statutes to ensure compliance of all contract requirements, terms and conditions throughout the life of a contract.

2. Knowledge of and correct understanding and good use of legal contractual language, terminology, etc.

3. Knowledge of fundamentals of budget development and expenditure control to determine type and appropriateness of contract compensation.

4. Knowledge and experience with on-line contract management software, etc. to create and process payment reports, schedules and contract documents.

5. Strong analytical, data analysis, reporting, and problem solving skills.

6. Ability to manage multiple priorities and work in fast paced, team environment.

7. Good written, verbal and interpersonal communication skills.

8. Ability to process and generate accurate, clear and efficient reports on data and processes.

9. Familiar with cost accounting, budget and financial systems processes and principals.

10. Computer skills in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint), Adobe Acrobat, online contract management databases.

11. Demonstrated strong interpersonal and customer service skills.

12. Business Degree, Accounting or Public Administration Degree and 2 years of contracting experience.
