Patient focused, customer service oriented, niche Physical Therapy Clinic is seeking a dynamic person to handle front office and clinical aide duties in our soon to open clinic in Tempe. Ideal candidate will have a heart to serve others, strong communication skills, reliable, multi-tasking ability, a bright personality, flexible schedule, self-motivated, trustworthy, and be a team player that gives 100% consistently.
The position is full-time and the ideal candidate will be bilingual (Spanish / English), coachable, have a strong desire to learn and grow, have previous medical/healthcare front office and physical therapy aide experience. Great customer service and functional computer/technology skills are a plus. This is a "utility player" type position so we need someone who enjoys doing different tasks each day and will be committed to excellence in all of them.
Applicants should be able to take direction, then work autonomously to complete tasks. Job duties include, but are not limited to:
-managing referrals and getting them scheduled for PT
-managing patient intake paperwork and communications with the referring doctor / attorney
-tracking and requesting updated referrals from the referring doctor, as appropriate
-creating patient files, scheduling patients, answering phones, faxing, filing
-money handling, billing
-keeping patient records up-to-date with accurate information
-assisting Physical Therapist with treatment and patient care
-facilitating patient flow and ensuring excellent customer experience
-building relationships with referral sources and the community
-communicating effectively with customers of differing backgrounds and socioeconomic status
-end of day close out and daily cleaning duties
