About the Role

The Materials Inventory Assistant will be responsible for receiving, tracking and distributing a variety of materials that we use in our listed homes. The position is based in our Scottsdale office with the expectation that you will spend some time traveling between storage units in the metro area. You will provide support to our field operations teams as they setup and maintain our listed homes.

As a Materials Inventory Assistant, your primary responsibilities will include:

•ÂReceive office deliveries of new inventory and add appropriate counts to inventory tracking system

•ÂTrack orders as they are procured, shipped and delivered

•ÂDeliver items out to the storage units across the Phoenix metro area

•ÂPeriodically audit storage unit inventories and reconcile inventory counts to what's recorded in our inventory tracking system

•ÂEducate and enforce healthy inventory management behaviors with all team members

•ÂStorage unit location optimization

•ÂTrain team members on how to use our inventory tracking system (tooling)

•ÂRetrieve bad or faulty equipment that needs refurbish/repair

•ÂNotify relevant team members when inventory for certain SKUs is low

•ÂMaintain cleanliness and organization of storage units

Planning + Forecasting

•ÂUnderstand inventory management ecosystem and suggest improvements based on your in-field experience

•ÂMonitor storage unit inventories to predict purchasing needs in cooperation with inventory prediction models

•ÂUnderstand lead times by SKU to ensure we have materials when we need them

Additional tasks

•ÂGather packages delivered to vacant homes and process appropriately

•ÂRefurbish sign posts and other marketing materials

•ÂHelp create and enforce disposal process for old inventory

•ÂRekey locksets

Skills / Knowledge

•ÂExtreme attention to detail

•ÂCompetency with numbers

•ÂStrong technical and verbal communications skills

•ÂCapacity to predict and forecast future needs

•ÂExperience in logistics, operations, or general project management

•ÂAbility to operate in a fast-paced and often ambiguous environment

•ÂA vehicle capable of transporting materials

Physical Requirements

• Frequent bending and lifting of up to 50lbs

• Safely traversing stairways while moving materials

• Placing materials on shelving from floor level to overhead heights.

•ÂSpending a significant amount of time standing, walking and driving.

Compensation:

This position is a part-time, contract position and pays $14 - $18 per hour depending on experience
