Boulder Canyon Apparel is a family-owned business. For over 15 years, we have been designing, screen printing and embroidering our quality resort wear designs on clothing in Arizona and distributing around the country. As a company we are committed to quality, value and service.
We're looking for a part-time addition to our art team, an Illustrator wiz, for Production Artist. It's primarily for our resort wear line, but will also may entail some school or corporate business as well. It requires a special breed, with solid aptitude for organization, attention to detail, and a heart passionately invested in working with design elements from National Park attractions, to wildlife and/or trending styles. You will be living, breathing, and feeding on Adobe Illustrator, and Photoshop so while a knowledge of other Creative Suite programs is a plus, they are not necessary. Must have experience in Design Art Separations and Namedropping of Production Art Files. Pay ranges from $12-$18 per hour, dependent on experience/skill level.
Requirements:
- Must have an complete mastery of Illustrator essentials, and demonstrate an Advanced level of knowledge of Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop. A Master level is a plus.
- Work is fast paced--must be efficient and able to produce for deadlines.
- Must work comfortably in either PC or Mac operating systems.
- Must be within a reasonable distance of the Factory.
- Must know Illustrator extremely well, and be able to create separations to screen print.
Favorable Additions:
- A good working knowledge of Adobe's Creative Suite
- Prior work experience in the industry is a huge plus, but not required
- BA in Design, with experience in screen printing or embroidery.
