Busy Scottsdale automotive parts manufacturer is looking for a CNC Machinist/Programmer to be the lead man in our shop, running mostly 4 axis Haas equipment ( VF4, VF5, Fadal 4525) along with other tool room machines. Must be able to use BobCad program to write and edit programs.
Qualifications:
Applicants of all levels will be considered that have the following but not limited to skills or experience:
-Minimum of five years with strong machine shop skills and experiences as well as CNC programming.
- Understand CNC machine, CNC programming, and machine tools.
- Able to read mechanical engineered drawings and Blueprint/ sketch reading.
- Candidate must know how to use micrometers, calipers and thread gauges
- Able to build fixtures
- Know feeds and speeds for various materials (aluminum, steel, stainless,etc.)
- Be able to edit and prove out programs
- Able to lift items over 50 lbs.
- Enjoys working in a team.
- Flexible and dynamic.
- Detail-oriented.
- Must have own tools and tool box
- Consistent attendance and punctuality.
- Applicant must be a - US citizen or valid green card
Daily Responsibilities & Expectations:
- Set up, program, operate & maintain multiple CNC machines and machine toolsÂ
- Detects and reports defective materials or questionable conditions to the department supervisor.
- Maintains the work area and equipment in a clean orderly condition and follows prescribed safety regulations.
- Perform related duties as assigned by supervisor.

Physical Requirements:
Ability to safely stand or sit for 95% of the working shift.
Be able to carry 25 lbs for a distance of 200 feet.
Ability to read, write and converse in the English language.
Stretch and bend over large working areas and tables.
Our recruiting process includes a one day pre-hire "trial-run" in our shop (paid, of course).
