As a Fabrication Manager at Denali MetalWorks, you will oversee the fabrication process, ensuring quality standards and efficiency are met. This role is essential in maintaining our reputation for excellence in the custom metal fabrication industry while leading a skilled team to deliver outstanding results.
Responsibilities
Supervise and coordinate daily fabrication operations to ensure timely project completion.
Review blueprints and schematics to determine project specifications and requirements.
Manage workflow and allocate resources effectively among team members.
Ensure compliance with safety regulations and quality standards throughout the fabrication process.
Train and mentor staff on best practices in metal fabrication techniques and equipment use.
Conduct regular inspections of work in progress to maintain high-quality output.
Collaborate with estimators and sales teams to provide accurate project timelines and updates.
Implement process improvements to enhance productivity and reduce waste.
Qualifications
Proven experience in metal fabrication management or a similar role within the manufacturing industry.
Strong proficiency in blueprint reading, schematics, and assembly processes.
Hands-on experience with welding techniques and power tools essential for metal fabrication.
Familiarity with safety regulations related to metalworking environments.
Excellent leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage a diverse team effectively.
Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail in all aspects of work.
Experience operating forklifts and other material handling equipment is preferred.
