Job Summary: This member of the Harbor Design and Integration Team will be a lead designer for multiple test interface printed circuit board design projects.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• As a senior member of the Harbor design team, the Senior PCB Designer role requires a highly experienced CAD professional with excellent PCB design software skills with significant CAD design experience.

• Must deliver error-free, on-time, manufacturable, complex electronic PCB schematic and design matching customer project criteria.

• Able to follow Harbor established procedures for completion of designs up to production such as schematics, bill of materials, placement and routing of PCB's, mechanical drawings, fabrication drawings, assembly drawings, design quality checks, hand off to manufacturing and assembly.

• Work effectively with other engineers, designers, simulation, CAM, & directly with customers in completion of PCB design requirements.

• Review initial customer data to ensure all project requirements are fully understood.

• Preparation of a design statement of work and specifications to collaborate with other less senior design team members on your projects.

• Provide direction, guidance, and training to less experienced designers and take leadership in design process improvements.

Education and/or Experience:

• BSEE or ASEE/ASET or equivalent work experience

• 5+ years experience in the design of load boards and/or probe cards for production and/or laboratory semiconductor test.

• In depth knowledge of Cadence Allegro, Allegro HDL and Allegro CIS is required.

• IPC CID Certification is helpful

• Must be self-directed and able to multi-task with little direct supervision.

• Excellent English written and verbal communication skills to solve technical matters with customers and colleagues.

• A meticulous attention to detail is required. Highly skilled in schematic, bill of material, assembly and fabrication drawing creation

• Working understanding of semiconductor wafer and package test equipment as it relates to tester interface printed circuit boards is a plus

• Ability to manage multiple project deadlines simultaneously

• Must have excellent interpersonal skills and professional conduct under sometimes difficult circumstances

• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office tools and network and internet use.

• Proven track record of customer satisfaction

• Ability to develop technical plans and discuss design details in support of customers expectations.
