We are seeking a Production line lead and Third shift Supervisor for a Food Manufacturing facility in South Phoenix. We are also seeking Sanitation and Warehouse.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

ÃÂÂÃÂìàEnsure that all production lines/equipment are staffed properly and achieve production standards and deliver scheduled production requirements.

ÃÂÂÃÂìàDirects production activities and establishes production priorities for products in keeping with effective operations and cost factors.

ÃÂÂÃÂìàFollow company GMP's (good manufacturing practices) and all other quality programs as they relate to production.

ÃÂÂÃÂìàTrouble shoot and notify mechanics of mechanical issues

ÃÂÂÃÂìàVerify codes, SOP's and standard work, and provide improvements on documents as needed.

ÃÂÂÃÂìàWrite corrective actions for out of compliance situations

ÃÂÂÃÂìàDrive LEAN/Continuous Improvement initiatives down to floor personnel.

ÃÂÂÃÂìàProvide consistent communication and feedback to personnel on shift, and pass information to other shifts.

ÃÂÂÃÂìàReport and troubleshoot all material usage, finished goods, labor hours, waste, and downtime using approved reports accurately and on time.

ÃÂÂÃÂìàFollow company GMP's (good manufacturing practices) and all other quality programs

ÃÂÂÃÂìàWear PPE (Personal Protective Equipment) when required

ÃÂÂÃÂìàResponsible for ensuring work area is clean and organized

ÃÂÂÃÂìàServes as safety model; promote a high level of safety awareness and continuous improvement in safety practices

ÃÂÂÃÂìàCommitted to ensuring that the products produced meet all food safety and quality requirements

ÃÂÂÃÂìàManages 9 to 30 employees on a production line. Is responsible for the overall direction, coordination, and evaluation of this section.

ÃÂÂÃÂìàEnsure effective employee relations. Provide employee coaching and development. Resolve employee issues through problem resolution.

ÃÂÂÃÂìàManage production line performance measures, and provide regular progress reports to managers.

ÃÂÂÃÂìàPerform accident investigations.

ÃÂÂÃÂìàManage production line priorities.

ÃÂÂÃÂìàÃÂÂÃÂìàResponsible for all other duties as assigned.

Preferred Qualifications:

ÃÂÂÃÂìàExperience and Education: Vocational school certification or Bachelors degree.

ÃÂÂÃÂìàLanguage: Bi-Lingual Spanish.

Work Environment:

The work environment characteristics described here are representative of those an employee encounters while performing the essential functions of this job.

A 40 hour work week will be considered normal. Extra hours, off hours, and extra work days may be required to accommodate changing production schedules, new projects, product development, and other special situations.

Physical Demands:

The employee must occasionally sit; use hands to finger, handle, feel, grasp, type; reach with hands and arms; climb up and down ladders or stairs lean, crouch, stoop, or kneel; lift and/or move up to 60 pounds. The employee is frequently required to stand and walk; talk or hear. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate, but the employee will be exposed to loud industrial equipment and machinery when performing job responsibilities. The employee in this position will be required to wear hearing protection or other safety equipment as required.
