We are currently looking for a Construction Safety Admin (part time) to join a large General Contractor in the Scottsdale area.
Hours: 10am-2pm Monday – Friday (20-25 hours a week)
Contract to Hire position
Duties:
Maintain Database including incident recording, training records and inspection checklists
Review, identify, track, and help communicate on hazardous material storage, handling, shipping, and transportation.
Email Safety Report and Infraction Letters to Project Manager, Superintendent and Asst. Superintendent.
Run report from Observation platform and review with Safety Manager delinquent Subcontractors.
Close out Observation Responses from Subcontractor when they arrive via email.
Prepare and distribute monthly calendars to office staff.
Update the log per project based on the email received from the Safety Manager to keep a running list of all the infractions on the project.
Assist with notifications and coordination of emergency hazardous material spills/leaks.
Track all OSHA required training
Place orders including but not limited to personal protective equipment
Perform other duties as assigned to assist the Safety Officers
Subcontract Agreements, Purchase Orders, and Change Orders
Subcontractor Safety Documents
Enter subcontractor dust control registration numbers in Procore
File copies of the subcontractor registration forms.
Experience and Qualifications:
1+ Experience working in construction industry
Great communication and organizational skills required
OSHA/Safety experience preferred (no certifications required)
