Service Technician:
We are looking for talented technicians to visit 5 to 6 customers daily, complete site surveys, install equipment and educate our customers on their new services. Bring your computer, electrical, general labor and customer service experience to Home Wiring Services, LLC.
Job Description:
*Participate in morning team meetings.
*Verify supplies and equipment needed for the day.
*Provide exceptional customer service by communicating to the customer an estimated arrival *time prior to arrival at the site.
*Review work orders (new installation, additional services or service calls) with the customer.
*Conduct a site survey, install lines and receivers, and ensure broadband and phone connectivity.
*Verify that the completed order meets the customer's needs and provide customer education of equipment and services.
*Clean site, conduct final account review with customer and update customer's account with detailed notes.
*Communicate progress of installations and service calls with the manager.

Education and Experience:
High school diploma (or GED) required; college or technical/vocational school a plus
Our cable service technicians come from a variety of different backgrounds, including general labor, contracting, construction and the military. Success does not hinge on a precise work history. Although no specific work or technical expertise is required, we have determined that some factors may enable you to jump-start your success in this entry-level customer contact technician position. Entry level candidates are encouraged to apply.
Skills and Qualifications:
*Valid driver's license and
*Clean driving record.
*Successful completion of a background check and drug test is required for employment consideration.
*Good written and verbal communication skills required.
*Basic computer skills required; basic electronics and/or audio/video knowledge is helpful.
*Strong customer service skills; friendly, approachable and motivated with a strong work ethic and high degree of integrity.
*Physically able to stand for long periods of time, climb a ladder, lift over 60 lbs. at times, crawl into small spaces, work in all climates.
