General purpose:

Growing manufacturing company is looking for a Senior IT Project Manager with experience implementing Salesforce or other CRM tools. You will lead full lifecycle digital transformation projects using agile methodologies while working within the IT PMO and Sales departments from inception to implementation. The successful candidate will be responsible for facilitating requirements development sessions to understand Onsemi's current state processes and technology and supporting the implementation work that follows. They will elicit current state pain points and uncover gaps in CRM best practices. From the session output, they will work with their delivery team to design a future state solution and be responsible for its approval and decomposition into user stories.

The ideal candidate should efficiently synthesize business information into functional specifications and confidently present implementation needs and options. The position is hands-on, working in the project team to implement Salesforce functionality and acting as a knowledgeable and supportive liaison between technical teams, testing teams, and business stakeholders during the implementation phase.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Salesforce Project Manager will lead the successful implementation of large scale, enterprise Salesforce projects through effective scope, timeline, and budget management
  • Use Salesforce experience to develop accurate work estimates, project budgets and timeline
  • Interacts with senior leadership and key stakeholders to establish schedules and objectives in alignment with business roadmaps
  • Builds close partnerships with project sponsor(s), key project stakeholders and senior IT management
  • Directs all internal and external project team members (from business and IT) as well as vendors
  • Acts as a liaison between business customers and IT solution delivery teams
  • Responsible for preparing the financial costs, benefits and ROI for projects and programs
  • Ensures projects are planned and executed in-line with the IT PMO methodology:
  • Project team roles and responsibilities
  • Project lifecycle and Phase gate approvals
  • Risk and Issue identification, management and contingency planning
  • Change control management
  • System and User Acceptance Testing
  • Deployment planning, management and transition to operations
  • Training: Business and IT (as needed)
  • Ability to learn and provide user support on IT's project and portfolio management tool, ResourceFirst
  • Understands BI (Business Intelligence) reports and does critical data analysis
  • Has solid Entrepreneurial Skills such as business acumen, customer centricity, judgement, risk management, learning agility, process knowledge, network performance, emotional intelligence, ownership & commitment, servant leadership and stakeholder partnership
  • Monitors Quality Assurance of project deliverables and compliance
  • Coaches and mentors less experienced project managers and project team members
  • Advocates project management methodology principles and IT PMO awareness across organization
  • Conducts IT PMO training as needed
  • Leads teams in performing project reviews and shares the findings across all IT teams
  • Accepts projects that have already started and takes them to a successful conclusion
  • Ability to rescue troubled projects
  • Assists with hiring project managers
  • Monitors and manages team and vendor performance and escalates effectively
  • Has a solid grasp and application of basic and advanced project management principles including the Scrum Agile framework
  • Manage day-to-day aspects of one or more teams, which includes leading Scrum Events (Backlog, Planning, Review, Retrospectives, and Daily Stand Ups. Contributes to continuous process improvement with PMO and IT methodology, templates, best practices, etc.
  • Carries out other assigned tasks as agreed within IT

REQUIREMENTS:

Years of experience:
  • 7 to 10 years of experience - preferably in a manufacturing industry, and/or any associated M&A work (acquisitions and/or divestitures)
  • 3+ years of experience delivering Enterprise Salesforce projects or another CRM platform
  • Salesforce.com, CRM implementation and Agile/Predictive Agile delivery experience require
  • Successful track record serving as the project manager for enterprise CRM implementation and technology initiatives
  • Hard skills/interests in systems and analysis
  • Familiar with, and able to utilize, software development/operations/integration methodologies and best practices, general infrastructure design, and project management concepts and approaches
  • Able to identify technology needs, formulate corresponding solutions, and utilize systematic methods/processes in doing so
  • Able to manage and drive multiple concurrent tasks/projects involving many types of resources (FTE's, vendors, contractors, interns, etc.)
  • Ability to provide attention to detail and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment

Education and Training:
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience required
  • Formal training in Project Management disciplines is required
  • A recognized Project Management certification is preferred
  • Scrum/Agile certification is preferred

Technical skills:
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, SharePoint)
  • Expertise in Microsoft Project and ability to mentor others
  • Strong analytical and creative problem-solving skills
  • Experience of managing a budget and of costing projects, capital, expense, quantify project benefits, ROI
