The Computer Specialist is responsible for working with the site manager, CAD/CAM design technician, electronics technician and aerospace mechanical technician to design and develop ATD / ATA, maintain existing ATD / ATA and recommend concurrency modifications to existing ATD / ATA. Primary work location is Luke Air Force Base (AFB) with approximately 20% travel required to maintain systems at various Government locations in the Continental US (CONUS) and Outside CONUS (OCONUS). Ability to obtain a US Government SECRET level clearance is required. Responsibilities: Works with a peer Computer Specialist to develop computational systems required to support ATD/ATA graphical interfaces (typically embedded software related to military embedded systems and avionic displays) Provides input to aerospace design activities and overall electro-mechanical packaging (IO and minimal hardware platform hosting to support computational requirements) Travels with the team, as required, to support diagnosis of ATD/ATA concurrency upgrades and maintenance failures Self-starter and team player with capabilities to juggle multiple demands in a dynamic, real world execution environment Position Requirements: Minimum of Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Programming, Mathematics, Electronics Engineering, or Computer Engineering or equivalent technical certifications Two years of experience working with rapid prototyping, research and design methods, data networking, computer operating systems, and microprocessor design and programming Current SECRET clearance or ability to obtain a SECRET level US Government security clearance (to include extensive background checks and drug screening) US Citizenship required Additional Desired Qualifications: Two years of experience with C and Assembly programming languages (or equivalents). Ability to design new code and analyze/modify existing code Two years of experience working with electronics, analog and digital circuit design, schematic design and interpretation Experience with commercial or/and military avionics system and design, data and communications bus architecture, LCD/LED/TFT display architecture, and printed circuit board design ÂPhoenix Logistics, Inc. is an Equal Opportunity/Affirmative Action Employer.
