Information Systems Security Analyst
The Senior Security Analyst must have demonstrated experience in establishing security controls to protect information systems. Duties include:
1. Develop information systems security policies, guidelines, and procedures.
2. Perform compliance reviews to assess and evaluate IT security controls.
3. Prepare and conduct security awareness training.
4. Support security incident response processes.
5. Monitor IT applications, systems and networks to ensure the integrity of information.
6. Identify, track, and report on potential security incidents.
Qualifications for Senior Security Analyst
Education ⢠At a minimum, a Bachelors Degree, or 7-12 years of related experience in lieu of degree
Skills, Knowledge
Abilities (SKA)
⢠Excellent oral, written and verbal skills.
⢠Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
⢠Excellent knowledge of TCP/IP and the OSI model
Experience
⢠Solid experience in monitoring, analyzing, and reacting to connectivity issues related to network, system, and application level security platforms
