Job Description:The successful candidate will be required to be thoroughly knowledgeable regarding the standard test methods for tests performed by a soils and asphalt lab technician in Phoenix, AZ. Duties will include performing laboratory testing in the Phoenix lab as well as site visits to work in clients labs. Must be able to travel to various locations for on-site lab testing. Maintaining proper and complete laboratory data, obtaining and maintaining lab certifications, and equipment. Communicate with Lab and Field Managers, regarding testing and equipment needs and support, and communicating with Project Managers regarding completed testing for projects.
Certifications and Experience:Candidate shall have the following current certifications ATTI Asphalt, ATTI Soils and Aggregates. The ideal candidate will have soil, concrete, steel, and asphalt testing experience. Laboratory certifications and a minimum 5 years' experience preferred.
Required Skills and Experience:Candidate should have excellent verbal and written communication skills, positive attitude, good organizational skills, and a strong work ethic. Must have a current valid driver's license.
