We are currently hiring concrete laborers, form setters & finishers to help us out on our fast paced, high end decorative concrete projects. We are looking for experienced people that can start immediately, or even those with little experience willing to work hard and learn the concrete trade. Abilities required:
Must be physically fit as heavy lifting will be involved.
Must be able to work in a high production level of decorative concrete construction which typically means forming, pouring and finishing over 100 yards of concrete a day.
Must be able to take direction from Supervisors.
Competent to meet all safety requirements and applicable safety policies.
Requirements:
Must be able to work in outdoor elements that include both extreme summer heat and cold winter temperatures in rain, wind, dust, sun, and construction noises.
Be able to move individual tools and equipment weighing up to 100 lbs, stand and/or walk for long periods, kneel stoop, crouch and crawl.
Capable of operating numerous hand-held equipment.
Must read, understand and follow company policies outlined in Company Safety Manual.
Must have a high standard of quality and accuracy.
Compensation: $15-$28 Per Hour - Based on qualifications and experience
EXPERIENCED CONCRETE FORM SETTERS & FINISHERS CALL OR TEXT SATURDAY OR SUNDAY AND START NEXT WEEK!
Minimum 40 Hours + Weekly Guaranteed
Concrete Form setter:
Need Experience Form Setting Wall Forms with Snap Ties.
Build and layout forms as required, according to plans and specifications with the ability to make calculations depending on grades
Fill forms with fill material and compact with tamper or compactor to bring to the required grade
Clean work site of any tools, debris, and equipment
Perform all work by complying to safety standards
Read survey stakes
Concrete Finisher
Key Responsibilities:
Working with a concrete crew on and around concrete forms assisting with concrete placements
Working with buckets and pump truck to place concrete
Finish concrete to meet tolerances
Use bull float and trowel to finish the surface
Use broom to achieve broom finish if necessary
Curb Machine finishing experience a plus.
Perform all additional duties that may be assigned
Qualifications
Lift and carry 100-pound bags of cement and sand
Push and pull screed over concrete while bent over
Repetitive stooping, bending, and kneeling
Use of mechanical screed and /or trowel float to smooth concrete
Working around permissible levels of dust, chemicals and curing compound
Wear a respirator for grinding and other required operations
Occupation hazards and standard safety precautions necessary in the workplace
Must be able to pass a drug screening
Minimum age 18
Proof of Identity and Employment Authorization
Three to five years of experience
Ability to freehand curb
Ability to finish steps
Ability to use a flat and trowel to finish concrete
Ability to rod concrete
