QC Inspector – Full Time
Schedule – second shift,
Training on 1st shift for a week or two, second shift is 2pm-11pm or 4pm to 3am
Workdays - Monday through Friday and Saturday’s as needed
Starting pay - $28-$30 based on experience.
This is a temp-to-hire position – Employed for 90 days as temps
Recruitgigs is hiring a Welding Quality Control Inspector to inspect structural steel fabrication for commercial, bridge, and industrial projects.
Responsibilities:
Perform visual and dimensional inspections of welds, paint, and fabricated materials
Ensure work meets drawings, specs, and applicable codes (AISC, AWS)
Maintain inspection records and report defects to production
Coordinate with customer inspectors and shop personnel
Requirements:
High School Diploma or equivalent
3+ years related fabrication or inspection experience (training may substitute)
Knowledge of structural steel drawings and welding standards
AWS/CWI or similar certification preferred
Status: Full-time, hourly, safety-sensitive position
