I'm the Director of Technology for one of Hawaii's most successful and fast-growing luxury real estate companies. It's my mission to establish a tech hub here in the Scottsdale Airpark area that can support our 350 agents and staff, and extend, and redraw the entire technology road-map for the company in this era of quickly evolving real estate technology.
We have a wide range of projects on our development schedule so you can forget boring. And since the Scottsdale office is just starting to hire, this is a rare ground-floor opportunity to work for a mature and well established company, without the risks usually associated with a start-up.
So what skills are we looking for?
You need to know how to code from scratch... on a napkin with a fork as your pencil and some coffee as your ink if necessary. If all you can do is drag and drop your way to the same boring end result that my 14-year old can, this is not for you.
Proper syntax, formatting, and adherence to accessibility and proper SEO standards is a must. Of course you already know HTML, CSS, and JavaScript. But what about the evolving JavaScript frameworks for cutting edge web apps? We are not married to any one technology so putting together a laundry list of tech buzzwords is a waste of time. Bring us your ideas, a solid reasoning for them, and let's create cool stuff!
Either you are a true front end web developer or you are just a "web designer"... and it's easy to tell the difference!
This is a full-time position with health insurance and a 401k benefit package. We reward performance and strive to achieve excellence in everything we do. Experience in real estate technology is a big plus and salary is commensurate with experience. Our offices are located on the south side of the Scottsdale Airpark just off Scottsdale Road and close to the 101.
