Turf Paradise, the only race horse track in Phoenix, is currently hiring part-time mutuel tellers to work at our off-track betting location at Matt's Saloon in Prescott, Arizona. Mutuel tellers are responsible for selling and cashing mutuel tickets for simulcast races. Successful applicants are required to maintain a change bank, cash and sell tickets, complete paperwork, and balance their change bank at the end of each shift. You will also promote positive customer service and public relations, and stay informed of any promotions or events in order to provide customers with accurate information.
Job requirements:
Must be at least 21 years of age
Must be able to pass pre-employment drug screen
Must have clean criminal background (no felony convictions)
Must speak English.
Requires 1 or more years of cash handling and customer service experience and must be reliable to work as scheduled. Good understanding of horse race betting and prior mutuel teller experience is preferred but not required. Applicants will only be considered if they provide a resume or application for employment.
