The Farmers® Insurance District Office for Yavapai County is seeking individuals interested in becoming a Protégé Insurance Agent!
Our new Farmers Protégé Program is designed for anyone who has ever thought about entering the competitive world of insurance. This is an opportunity to be mentored under one of Farmers' most successful agents. Learn how to own and operate an insurance practice from the inside out all while being paid. This hands-on paid position is perfect for someone wanting to know what a typical day is like and has the desire to run a business. Full training is provided, from marketing, sales, staffing, customer service and insurance knowledge. The outcome of the Protégé Program is to prepare you to successfully run your own agency after surpassing the goals set by the company.

Ability to waive the liquid capital requirement needed to acquire a Farmers Agency (upon successful completion of the Protégé Program).
Responsibilities (Included but not limited to):
Work existing leads, develop new leads, schedule appointments, identify customer needs and market appropriate products.
Establish client relationships and follow up with customers in a timely manner to provide exceptional service.
Develop insurance quotes, makes sales presentations, and closes sales.
Being able to keep records of customer interactions and transactions on our computer-based management system.
Can multi-task, stay organized, and be driven to meet deadlines.
Requirements:
Ability to obtain or possess an active Property & Casualty insurance license.
Ability to obtain or possess an active Life & Health Insurance license.
Chosen candidates must pass financial (no judgments, collections, or bankruptcies discharged within 1 year) and criminal background check (no felonies).
Entrepreneurial mindset and willingness to take risks.
Possess a genuine willingness to learn, be intuitive and resourceful and be coachable.
Possess an upbeat, positive and enthusiastic attitude.
Be a great self-starter with a sense of urgency.
Excellent Communication/interpersonal skills.
Trustworthy and Dependable
Be a quick learner and a team player.
College Degree Preferred but not required.
