This is an entry level position and doesn't require previous experience, since the company does the necessary training and certification.

Full-Time - After the first year there is 2 weeks paid vacation.

Job Summary:

The Wellness Center Assistant provides: Quality wellness services to promote recovery and deliver the message that mental health recovery is not a remission or a miracle cure, but the process of living a fulfilling life despite illness and loss.

The Peer Support Specialist will receive training for and receive a Peer Support certification, as well as CPR and First Aid training and many more levels of programs to assistant our Wellness Center members. Additional training will also include wrap around services for our members in our housing program to assist them in achieving a variety of positive preferences and lifestyles.

Success in the role is measured on:

Assuring center and housing programs remain viable by coordinating with the behavioral health community, supportive and housing collaborations.

The implementation of recovery activities in the wellness center, in supportive housing and in the community to include members in activities, events and community integration and provide support and educational materials for them.

Maintaining a safe, orderly and peaceful environment of the center and housing members.

Minimum requirements:

Current AZ Drivers license and 5 year good Motor Vehicle history.

Pass a background and a drug test.

HS diploma or GED.

- If in Personal recovery, must be at least one year.
