Experienced MIG welder / Fabricator position open in Prescott. Must have considerable experience with Mig welding light gauge steel. Experience welding security doors, gates and railings is a plus.
Prestige Security Doors is looking for an experienced Mig welder to assist us in providing the highest quality security doors and gates. Most work will be done in our heated and cooled facility with quality machines and equipment. Other duties and cross training may include, sandblasting, powder coating, installations.
We are a small shop with employees that are able to work on their own, with minimal supervision. Essential Responsibilities:
Work with the team to produce a consistently high quality product at a production level speed
Must adhere to all PPE requirements
Measure and cut accurately
Must have excellent sanding, grinding, and finishing skills
Basic math skills
Must be able to listen to and follow instructions
Be able to organize time efficiently
Be able to work unsupervised
Must be able to show up to work on time everyday
Requirements:
Requires a minimum of 2 years Ornamental Iron experiance
Ability to MIG weld thin wall tubing: mild steel
Ability to cut tube straight and on tangent
Ability to use shop equipment including but not limited to band saws, cold cut saws, belt sanders, air tools, tape measure, etc.
Ability to lift over 80 pounds
Normal hours of operation: M-F 7am - 3:30pm
