10+ years of progressive engineering experience, building and scaling cloud-based SaaS products with a deep desire to stay hands-on. 2+ years as an engineering manager or technical leader, directly managing engineers. Big picture thinker, you are comfortable making technology decisions that impact critical business capabilities and engineering teams. Extensive experience in building, scaling and maintaining Event-driven systems and Microservices for large e-commerce platforms. Polyglot with exceptional programming skills in at least one modern programming language. DevOps enthusiast, practicing Continuous Delivery. You know what it takes to release code to production, multiple times a day. Comfortable working in a remote environment and with globally distributed teams. You appreciate and embrace transparency and see value in providing and receiving feedback. Team tech stack: Java, Kafka, microservices, Cassandra, NoSQL, AWS, Kubernetes.
