Coordinator, Human ResourcesDescriptionThe HR Coordinator works closely with theSenior Manager, HR Operations and Compliance, HRIT, HR Managers, Payroll, andfield site admins. The role is responsible for data entry of employee recordsand overall integrity of employee system of record and filing system, administrativeand system support, and regular internal audits, with an understanding of systemworkflow.TheHR Coordinator provides supportto various functional and administrative processes with a high level ofcustomer service and communication. Maintains confidentiality of private andsensitive information and communication with internal and field teams.KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES/JOB DUTIESResponsible for execution and tracking of dailydata entry activities.
Review,analyze and accurately process all HR related data, including new hires,terminations, wage changes, transfers LOA, and other business related changes,and follow up with HR Managers if information is missing.
Maintain various HR spreadsheets, databases ensuring information is up to date, accurate and monitored regularly including providing support for data collection
Upholdsupport documentation of Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs)
Assist in providing general support managing daily organizational and administrative aspects of HR operations
Supportand monitor various email boxes
Assist with other projects and administrative duties as assigned
Support various system integrity andreporting activities
Perform various audit activities toinsure accuracy between several systems of record
Research issues, discover root causes, and provide recommended solutions
Partnerwith Global HRIT during implementation of system changes/initiatives
Ensure compliance and integrity of allHR data in collaboration with Compensation, Payroll, and Finance
Backup support to various reporting activities including dashboards, recurring andad-hoc reporting
Maintain records and overallintegrity of employee record filing systems ensuring privacy andconfidentiality standards are met
Audit employee files to ensure compliance standards are met
Maintain employee files in conjunction with offsite storagevendor – request files from vendor, file documents, send files back to vendor
Ensure understanding of all laws and regulations demonstratingbest practices in regards to record retention
QualificationsEducation/Experience, skill sets, desiredcompetencies:Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination ofwork experience and education and minimum of 2 years work experienceExperience:
Minimum of 2 years of related human resources experience with logistics business experience preferred
Strong attention to detail
Maturity and discretion to handle confidential information
Ability to articulate challenges and recommend solutions
Manage time effectively
Intermediate-to-advanced skills in Microsoft Excel, Word and PowerPoint
Familiarity with various human resource information systems, preferably Oracle Fusion and Taleo
Ability to workcollaboratively with various departments and all levels of employees
Demonstrates ability to work independently and meet deadlines
Ability to maintain integrity when confronted with emergent, critical, unusual situation, or situations in which working speed and sustained attention are critical aspects of the job
