RESPONSIBILITIES:
Kforce's client in Scottsdale, AZ is actively searching for an experienced Java Developer. This is a remote opportunity.
Our client is a Fortune 500 Insurance and Financial Institution. They have a wide variety of offerings specializing in Excess and Surplus products for personal and commercial customers. Responsibilities:
Java Developer provides technical consulting on complex projects
Devises or modifies procedures to solve complex problems considering computer equipment capacity and limitations, operating time, and form of desired results
Java Developer is responsible for program design, coding, testing, debugging, and documentation
REQUIREMENTS:
8-10 years of Java experience required
Experience working with Guidewire is a plus
Experience or knowledge of Guidewire InsuranceNow is a plus
Previous experience working within the insurance industry preferred
Understanding of Java and database knowledge to write simple queries
Expert in one or more highly specialized phases of applications programming
Has full technical knowledge of all phases of applications programming
