RESPONSIBILITIES:
Kforce has a client that is seeking a QA Analyst UAT in Scottsdale, AZ.
Summary:
The Quality Assurance (QA) Analyst will be responsible for ensuring excellence in data integrations; data standards; and website, systems, and various IT capabilities and functionality. The QA Analyst will work with IT business analyst, product owners, developers, and vendors to define, prioritize testing requirements, prepare all QA artifacts; and communicate test results and status reports.
Responsibilities:
QA Analyst will perform bi-weekly UAT on customer application process
Review business requirements, functional and design specifications to ensure full understanding of individual deliverables
Interpret requirements and user stories for test case development - Identify test requirements from specifications, map test case requirements and design test plans
Backend testing of MS SQL environment including validating stored procedures, jobs, and triggers
Backend testing as required by PG Infrastructure team
Frontend testing of software and customer website
As a QA Analyst, you will draft and/or maintain quality assurance policies and procedures
Develop, document, and maintain functional test cases and other test artifacts like the test data, data validation, website test functionality, product test functionality
Execute, document, evaluate, and report on testing
Hold and facilitate test plan and case reviews with IT business analyst and cross-functional teams
QA Analysts identify any potential quality issues and escalate potential quality appropriately
Ensure that validated deliverables meet functional and design specifications and requirements
Isolate, replicate, and report defects and verify defect fixes
Create clear, detailed, and concise test plans and cases from both written and verbal communications
QA Analysts communicate quantitative and qualitative test findings to development team(s)
REQUIREMENTS:
Associate or Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Administration, or related field
3 - 4 years of experience with business requirement/story-based test design in support of production systems and data quality
3 - 4 years of experience in computer technology and/or information systems
3 - 4 years of experience in test case development and test execution
1 year of working in finance-related systems as a quality assurance analyst
Meticulous and diligent attention to detail
Basic knowledge of test tools and test case management
Strong analytical skills to support sound decisions and independent thinking
Ability to write and present quality related documentation
Ability to interact professionally with a diverse group of executives, managers, and subject matter experts
