RESPONSIBILITIES:
Kforce has a client in Scottsdale, AZ that is seeking a Remote Program Manager (SAAS/Software Product).
Summary:
The Remote Program Manager (SAAS/Software product) position is responsible for ensuring Product programs meet stakeholder expectations and intended business value on schedule. The Program Manager will drive success at the team level by working closely with cross functional teams, to ensure the success criteria for the Product delivery are clear. They will ensure that all work delivered by a variety of teams culminates in successful program delivery. They will work closely with Business Teams, to ensure the company is well prepared for the Product changes.
Key Responsibilities:
Program Manager works with stakeholders to validate clear Product and Business objectives
Using Discovery outputs works with Product, Development and Design Leaders to facilitate definition of MVP, estimates and t-shirt sizing to build out a roadmap
Ensures work required to meet success criteria with ongoing progress is visible and accurate in Jira
As a Program Manager, you will resolve and surface blockers and dependencies for teams
Ensures milestones and release schedule is maintained to meet Roadmap timelines
Ensures necessary project meetings are successful by preparing agendas, presentation materials, notes and follow up actions in prescribed artifacts such as RAID log: Risks, Decisions
Facilitates team Agile ceremonies as agreed with Team leadership
Program Manager works closely with Product Marketing and Promise Delivery teams to ensure that all changes to internal team processes are clear and accounted for and that all teams are prepared for the changes
Completes the project closure tasks including lessons learned documentation; Issues transition; and project document management
Maintains standard project management documentation utilizing
REQUIREMENTS:
Bachelor's degree, bonus would be in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Management, or other technical discipline and/or 7+ years of successful delivery experience or an acceptable combination of education and experience
PMP and/or Agile Scrum certification
Experience in SaaS and/or cloud-based Web Technology, Software Product delivery environment
Experience developing commercial or enterprise software products from concept is required; This is not an IT/Application implementation or customization position
Advanced program and project management skills including leadership roles on large scale Product delivery, with a proactive and directive approach
Sound judgment, with an ability to quickly build Product and business acumen by understanding business strategies and execution plans
Ability to understand technical issues and orchestrate solutions by getting the right people involved
Experience with Jira and in Agile principles and practices, having led through all ceremonies
Experience as a SCRUM Master having led multiple teams
Experience planning in an Agile environment, such as Advanced Roadmaps in Jira and or previous Agile/Waterfall hybrid environments; With understanding of story pointing/grooming
Knowledge of Product Management, Product Development, Release coordination, User Design and QA disciplines and processes
Willing to dive in and complete out of scope tasks if/when able and accept other duties as assigned
Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to clearly articulate decisions, tasks, risks, and scope across multiple projects
