Apply today and join our team!POSITION SUMMARY: The Senior Unified Communications (UC) Engineer will collaborate with all aspects of maintaining, configuring, and sustaining the Cisco VoIP environment including: design, implementation, maintenance of existing UC environment, upgrading/configuration and installation of Cisco hardware/software. In addition, the Sr. UC Engineer will utilize a broad knowledge of unified communications, network, and telecommunications. Proficiencies in local area network/wide area network (LAN/WAN) operations are required to ensure optimum configuration and operation of all integrated systems.PRINCIPAL RESPONSIBILITIES:Advanced level experience with Cisco Unified Contact Center Enterprise. Ability to understand, design, modify and support scripting. Familiar with UCCE infrastructure required to support environment. Familiar with Cisco Configuration Manager. Proficient in MS SQL preferred

Responsible for all aspects of maintaining, configuring, and sustaining the Cisco Unified Communications environment (VOIP, Video, Contact Center, Fax, and Collaboration).

Analyzes business requirements in order to assist in design and implement solutions in the UC environment.

Assist and collaborates with Network and UC Engineering teams to develop network design for all UC applications.

Responsible for updating, participating, and assisting in develop of project plans and project management.

Provides knowledge of LAN technologies (Layer 1, Switching, etc.) and collaborates cross-team in support of remote business units.

Keeps abreast of new developments in the industry and gains an understanding on how new and emerging technologies are implemented.

This position may require travel by air, car and/or other modes of up to 25% of the time.

Performs other job related duties as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS:Bachelor’s degree in IT or related field.

5 years related experience directly responsible for the following: Unified Communications Manager 12.5 and/or higher, Unity Connection 12.5 and/or higher and UCCE/CVP 12.5 and/or higher.

Project management experience.

Experience in call center operations.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:High school diploma or G.E.D.

Minimum of 3 years related experience directly responsible for the following: Unified Communications Manager 12.5 and/or higher and Unity Connection 12.5 and/or higher.

Experience with Cisco Emergency Responder, Cisco Jabber , Cisco WebEx, Cisco Video , and IP Fax Solutions.

Understanding of Cisco Contact Center Enterprise and Cisco Customer Voice Portal.

Experience with Voice Gateways (analog, digital and SIP) and dial plan design.

Understanding of and ability to configure Quality of Service (Campus and WAN).

Advanced knowledge of routing and switching including Voice Gateway and LAN switch configuration and troubleshooting as it relates to the VoIP environment.

Cisco Certified Network Associate (CNNA).
