HIGHLAND EXPRESS SHUTTLE SERVICE (Sierra Vista)

The information below is for a part-time van driver position with Highland Express Shuttle Service:
Location: Applicant must live within 10 minutes driving time of the Mall at Sierra Vista.
Position: Van Driver, Part-time (Two to three days a week on average).
ATTN: This position WILL NOT evolve into a full-time position.
Veteran's Preference: YES
Vehicle Type: 15 Passenger Ford E-350 Transit Van
Work Week: Days of the week are yet to be determined.
Route: Driver departs Sierra Vista with destination being the Military Entrance Processing Station (MEPS) in Phoenix, AZ, and return. The driver will make stops along the way in Tucson and Casa Grande to pick up applicants along the way.
Benefits: 401K, Workers Compensation, Dental, Vision, Vacation, and merit-based bonuses at end of year. Benefits available after 90 days of hire.
Training: Will receive two (2) days of training with an optional third day at discretion of the trainer.
Salary: Driver will be compensated at $12.00 an hour.
Raises: All raises are performance-based.
Pay Period: Pay earned between the 1st and 15th of the month will be deposited at the end of the month; pay earned between 16th and 30th of month will be deposited on the 15th of the next month.
All pay is set up as direct deposit, and both federal and state taxes will be taken out.
Requirements: High school diploma/GED, clean MVR (Motor Vehicle Record), Police Record Check, pre-employment drug screening, must be able to pass a Federal Department of Transportation (DOT) physical (Company Paid), Commercial Drivers License (CDL) IS A PLUS BUT NOT REQUIRED. Must be familiar with, and capable of, running an Electronic Logging (E-LOG) system and able to complete some paperwork while on the route.
Job Description: Van driver will transport Military Applicants from Armed Forces Recruiting Centers located on the above described route to the Military Entrance Processing Station (MEPS) in Phoenix. The Company provides the vehicle along with maintenance, fuel, and mobile phone.
