DescriptionIf you're a self-starting and detail-oriented Accounts Receivable (A/R) Clerk, we might have a job for you! Accountemps is partnering with a growing Wholesale Distribution company who is seeking an Accounts Receivable (A/R) Clerk to join the accounting team. The Accounts Receivable Clerk will be entering, posting, and reconciling batches, as well as researching and resolving customer A/R issues, preparing aging report, placing billing and collection calls, and maintaining cash receipts journal. Test documents and codes
Pinpoint delinquent customer accounts through various means, including skip-tracing, phone contact, written correspondence, and make arrangements for payment
Contact clients to help resolve payment issues; assist in setting up payment plans
Execute a range of foundational accounting tasks in agreement with normal procedures, including general accounting tasks
Reconcile bank accounts, posting and balancing financial data in various ledgers
Requirements
AA or BS/BA degree in Accounting or related field
Solid understanding of Microsoft Excel
Accounts Receivable (AR) experience
Strong analytical skills in basic accounts receivable and accounting policy
1+ years of relevant experience in accounts receivable
