    Insight Digital Innovation team is searching for an experienced, passionate and professional

    AWS Architect to join our team.

    Seeking a passionate

    AWS/Architect to join our team. Insight does technical consulting to clients through envisioning sessions, architecture design sessions and providing architecture oversight for our clients on their most important and challenging projects. They are responsible for industry research & development, rapid prototyping and outreach to the technology community. They collaborate with sales, marketing and delivery in the creation of Insights offerings, providing pre-sales collateral in the form of whitepapers, presentations, blog articles, demos and videos.

    Things we do:
  • Implement and manage management, control, and deploy systems on AWS
  • Implement and automate security controls, governance processes, and compliance support
  • Develop and deploy monitoring, metrics, and logging
  • Implement systems that are highly available, scalable, and resilient on the AWS platform
  • Design, manage, and maintain tools to automate operational processes

    Desired Knowledge and Experience:
  • Experience developing code in at least one high-level programming language
  • Experience building highly automated infrastructures
  • Experience administering operating systems
  • Understanding of modern development and operations processes and methodologies
  • Current AWS DevOps Engineer - Professional Certification
  • AWS Certified and 5+ years of recent AWS Cloud Engineering experience
  • Experience with OpsWorks
  • Experience designing and implementing fully automated CI/CD pipelines on AWS
  • 5+ years of experience with Ansible and other modern tooling in complex production environments
  • Experienced in OO software design and development methods, understands how structured design and modular architecture apply to IaC/IaaS
  • Strong experience with Ansible | Jenkins | Kubernetes | Docker | Git | AWS System Manager, AWS, ECR, EKS | Windows and Linux.
  • Deep, technical, real-world knowledge of CI/CD and DevOps best practice, and the underlying principles of AWS services

Must have:
  • Hands on experience in python scripting
  • Collaboration Tools (JIRA, Confluence, Stash)
  • AWS Experience
  • The AWS Cloud Architect would need to have at least 10 years of experience.
  • Participate in planning, implementation, and growth of the infrastructure on Amazon Web Services (AWS) Cloud.
  • Experience designing and building web application environments on AWS, including services such as AWS Glue, Lambda, Redshift, SQS, SNS, EC2, S3, ELB, RDS, etc.
  • Ability to create and utilize AWS Cloud Formation & Terraform templates to automate creation of AWS images.
  • Proficient in developing scripts and scripting languages
  • A team player capable of high performance, flexibility in a dynamic working environment and the ability to lead.
  • Skill and ability to train others on technical and procedural topics
  • Extensive hands on experience working on Python, Pyspark, Shell scripting and SQL language

Experience Profile
  • 15+ total years industry/consulting experience
  • 10+ years of experience as a software engineer with hands on programming
  • 3+ years of experience as an Architect
  • 4+ years of professional hands on experience with Azure, AWS, and/or other cloud providers
