Description:
Work closely with a local real estate investor in managing the bookkeeping of his personal investments. The majority of these investments are Tucson multifamily properties owned and managed through his purpose-made LLC. Strong experience in accounting is needed. Work week will be between 20 to 25 hours a week as needed.
Responsibilities:
Pay all vendors/utilities and record in QuickBooks and AppFolio
Record deposits from subsidized rent/laundry in QuickBooks and AppFolio
Balance bank account in QuickBooks daily and AppFolio monthly
Turn on/off all utilities with the service providers
Coordinate with property manager on paperwork for subsidized housing
Communicate with new and existing mortgage holders
Communicate with insurance brokers on properties
Review all due diligence documents for new property purchases
Update website as needed
Update Facebook page
Qualifications:
Strong accounting background
Ability to take initiative and work in a relatively unstructured manner
