Old Tucson Company now seeking Payroll Clerk & Accounting Assistant
Ideal candidate must be organized, responsible, reliable, efficient, have ability to analyze and able to handle confidential information.
Duties include, but are not limited to, the following:
Preparing and processing of the companys bi-weekly payroll with ADP Workforce Now software.
Preparing health insurance payments, distributing costs by departments and by the employees share and reconciling same to General Ledger.
Preparing payroll-related journal entries, including workers compensation costs by classes and departments and do bank reconciliations.
Requirements:
Good knowledge of Excel.
Strongly preferred qualifications:
Experience processing payroll for at least 40 employees
Familiarity with ADP payroll software and Quickbooks accounting software
Bookkeeping/accounting education and experience
This is a year-round position for approximately 30-37 hours per week, depending on season.
