FLOOR MANAGER
JOB OVERVIEW:
The Floor Manager provides direct staff supervision and oversight of the day-to-day operations of the dispensary. A primary component of this position is ensuring customer satisfaction through detailed and accurate management of all customer-facing initiatives and interactions. Strong business and logic skills are a must, as is the ability to easily multi-task. This is a full-time position, with weekend work required. Be advised: shift lengths are 11-13 hours long, 4x weekly. There is no give in shift length, and the hours require a strong commitment to the work.
We expect high performing individuals, and provide a salary and benefits commiserate with those expectations. We want a floor manager who is energized, motivated, and a high achieverin other words, someone who never stops improving. We are a small start-up, and will require you to pitch-in at every level of the business. "That's not my job" is considered bad language in these parts!
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Supervision of retail staff
- Opening/closing of store (daily inventory and cash management)
- Supply management and ordering
- Purchase order receipt and inventory management
- Customer satisfaction assurance
- Achieving sales goals and metrics with hourly staff
- Other tasks as assigned
JOB REQUIREMENTS:
- Strong work ethic
- Ability to supervise (previous supervisory experience preferred)
- Strong business skills, including familiarity with Excel
- Ability to critically think and problem solve without direction
- Ability to multi-task and keep track of multiple work projects
- Detail oriented
- College degree strongly preferred (or equivalent work experience)
- Ability to take initiative and create meaningful impact on a small business
- Interest in learning all aspects of dispensary operations
- Ability to work long shifts (11+ hours)
- MUST BE 21 to work in state-licensed dispensary
